The Landing

The Landing is another waterfront dining destination with a wonderful deck to soak up the sun while enjoying a glass of wine. They have a new chef that is creating a lot of buzz with an exciting menu. Alex Pineda (executive Chef) is the son of famous Boston chef/ restaurant owner Lydia Shire and previously worked for Wolfgang Puck. They change their menu often which makes this a favorite spot amongst our staff.

Staff favorites include: Chicken Liver Mousse, Mussels, Steak Frites and the Skate Wing. You really cannot go wrong at 5CK as all the food is divine! Insiders tip: they serve $2 oysters from 5-6 and its best to get there right at 5 since their bar can fill up quickly.

Steak and lobster dinner is served at a top Marblehead restaurant

Maddies Sail Loft

The Sail Loft is a legendary Marblehead Bar and rightfully so! It opened shortly after WWII and has been operating as a traditional New England Seafood Pub ever since. They are famous for their (extra) strong cocktails, especially the “Thunderdome”. We warn you, only order 2 MAX. Great spot for casual fare at prices that are hard to beat (bonus that its right around the corner from the inn!)

The Barnacle

The Barnacle Restaurant is the oldest family owned restaurant in town and started out as a small clam shack offering take-out. Since it’s opening in the 1940s, The Barnacle has grown in size and popularity and has been known all that time for its fresh lobster rolls & seafood chowder! They are located right on the water with beautiful views of the harbor and Marblehead Lighthouse. We have found its a favorite lunch spot for guests or dinner on Wednesdays for their twin lobster special!

The Beacon

Live music, fun cocktails and a menu full of exciting culinary favorites makes The Beacon a hit in town!  Grab a seat near the stage during the week and enjoy the ambiance of a piano bar softly accompanying your meal and on the weekends dance the night away with the areas most popular live bands and DJ’s.  On special occasions The Beacon will also feature renowned national acts, musicians, and comedians.  They also have a great outdoor seating area with large umbrellas, heaters and a lounge area with a fire pit. A fun place in town to add to your itinerary!

Caffe Italia

Caffe Italia offers a fun and inviting dining experience for those looking to have Italian Cuisine. With a wonderful big bar, booth seating and a second large dining room – there is plenty of space for small or large parties.  The family behind Caffe Italia has been serving authentic Italian cuisine for over 30 years so you can be confident you will have a delicious meal.
